There's something really special about elopements that make them such a joy to photograph. When it's just you and your partner, or a few added best friends and family - the smaller intimate gathering lends itself to something that is more stripped down....something authentic. The celebration ends up being less performance (and less pressure) and really chock full of beautiful, candid moments.

Whether you're popping into the Baltimore courthouse on a weekday, saying your vows on a rooftop in DC, or flying me out to a mountain in Oregon, every elopement is unique and personal. Tell me your vision, and I'll figure out how to make it happen photographically.

My approach to elopements (and photography in general) is to shoot as candid and unobtrusively as possible, focusing on capturing what's actually happening rather than manufacturing something for the camera.

The bear hug your friend gives you immediately after you tie the knot....the champagne exploding and everyone makes a surprised face....the tears that well up in your partner's eyes when saying their vows......all these candid moments are the things I love capturing when photographing elopements.

Elopement Pricing

Every elopement is a little different so let me know what you're thinking and I will craft a bespoke quote for you. Pricing is based on where, when, and how long. Here are a few examples to give you some idea of pricing structure:

$1250 - A simple weekday elopement local here in Baltimore, 1 hour of photography with just the couple
$1750 - An elopement local(ish) to Baltimore, or nearby Maryland, on any day of the week, up to 1.5 hours of photography that may include some portrait time, either as a newly married couple or also with friends and family
$2500 - A Saturday elopement in downtown DC, peak season, up to 2 hours, family portraits or multiple locations included
$5550 - Destination elopement anywhere in the continental United States [for instance on top of Mt Hood in Oregon, as seen in the header image above]. Up to 3 hours of photography, family and couple portraits included. TRAVEL INCLUDED in most cases.
